@Roy - a post about condensing notes would be awesome!
I always find myself writing the exact way a hand played out where I could have just said "c/r paired flop with nfd then gave up" for example. Always hard to concentrate on good notes when playing, do you ever wait till after the session and take the notes in HEM instead?
I think it's fine when Roy is somewhat regular poster in SSPLO, it's not like he's just someone unknown appearing out of nowhere to advertise his blog. Also it's related to the subject of this thread, so it's not comparable to eg. DN case where he made a new thread(?)
The standard has been that u can have the link in ur profile, but refrain from posting that link in threads or having it as a location, etc. Roy could just say he's made a new entry to his blog/home page, and the link can be found in his profile.
Like I said, I have nothing against the occasional link personally.
