obviously wintermag is desperate to make me look bad, and therefore posted something completely out of context. that guy at the table told me i was a broke loser for an hour straight, and told me i was probably playing with daddy's money. it seriously went on forever, and i said nothing about it for a very long time. in fact i was very nice to the guy at first, actually told him several times that he should be nice to bad players like me because they are the ones that provide the winnings for good players. this guy went on and on though, and then challenged me to fight him for $10k. i said ok, and offered to pay his expenses to travel to dallas for the fight if he proved he had $10k. he instantly backed out and told me to tell him where i was in dallas so he could have someone come "kick my ass" right now. he then continued to berate me for a while and tell me how horrible i am, and told me i was certainly playing with daddy's money and had never won anything playing poker.

i can only listen to that crap so much, so i said the obvious thing to say. that is the first time i ever said anything about results to anyone at the table. i certainly was not trying to brag or anything like that, but anyone who listens to that crap for an hour is going to at want to make the person realize how wrong they are.

wintermag continues to be the most immature loser i have ever come across. he should probably spend more time working on his game seeing as how he is broke right now and not even a winner in the games he plays.

you are one of the least humble people i have ever come across, and pratically every post you make is either arrogant or rude. i have had countless $20k months in the past 4 years, even some $30k and $40k months and i do not go around bragging ever. the only time i ever say anything about results is if an obviously inferior player like wintermag or worse tries to act superior or makes endless deragotory comments, or if someone asks me a question and i am nice enough to answer.

you guys can try to act like i am arrogant or whatever, but the truth is if anyone knew me in real life you would know the truth is that i am not. 98% of the people i know have no idea how much i make, and i actually usually dodge questions about it most of the time, because when people talk about how much they make they always come off looking like a douche or arrogant moron. it is completely different to post results in a forum when someone tries to make you look bad, or is questioning your success at your chosen profession, the thing you have devoted all of your time and effort to.

if any of you on here saw the chat log from the conversation, you would totally understand me saying something. in fact 95% of you probably would have said something a lot sooner.

I was at the table when mindcircus said that... other dude was mega tard and instigating. Plus berating is almost always + EV anyways.. even if he weren't provoked I wouldn't have had a problem with it.

It's possible your talking back to the fish could be excused but speaking about PTR is one of the most idiotic and inexcusable things a serious player can do at the table. It not only gives your opponent knowledge of the site, but also all other players at the table + any observers who may be watching. Not to mention the use of PTR is against the T&C of Pokerstars.

So berate away if you must at a certain point of provocation, but for ****s sake don't mention PTR.
