The variance should equal out to some extent, but variance has nothing to do with this, it shouldnt play a role regarding the odds.

I think 3-1 odds would be fair.

Do you have any idea how difficult it is to make 30k in one month?

Spurious, nah they were for 100 BI and a bunch of them failed, despite NL being easier imo to pull than plo would be. You can play way more table, good players are still winning 4-5ptbb, more games so easier to game select a minimum.. etc.

I hope you know that he didnt complete the NLH1/2 40k in 31 days bet. He had no chance what so ever.

Regarding the nl25, its such low stakes, so anything is possible (i didnt read the thread, so I dont know if he did it or not)
