Thx ****.

Best way to counter 50/30/10 who is aggro post flop..
3b any ss/dsrundown, BBBB, KKds, AAxx when in position? too wide?
What about an oop 3b range?

i 3bet those hands IP against all but the biggest nits.
your general game plan should be playing more hands IP vs them and less hands OOP.

more precisely, start opening less from utg, 3bet tighter OOP, don't even think about defending your blinds with anything but hands that crush his range, and with those 3bet him. furthermore, rather than 3bet light IP, open your value 3bet range (about time to include those hands you mentioned before if you don't 3bet them IP yet).

postflop it all comes down to his tendencies really.

one more thing about pre: leave table if he's sitting on your direct left (only stay if he's a huge idiot post flop, other huge fish at the table)

Re: ***Official SSPLO Beginners Thread - New to PLO? Try this for quick questions/tips/chat***

PLO10 6max - I 3bet a BTN steal+sb call in BB with AAK2hh BTN calls SB folds. I have 180BB BTN has me covered.

flop A56r I cbet little over 3/4 BTN flats. turn 8 to complete the rainbow. Am I supposed to keep barreling here or c/c or smth? Anyway I bet 4 in 7.15 again and he raised it to 11.41. Now I have 25% equity against the str8 and almost got the right odds to call against str8s anyway, I was thinking if shipping over the left over 3$ is the right play? I mean he can still be bluffing from time to time or have a set+OESD or smth.

I don't know anything about this guy as it is early in the game.

Now that I wrote all of this it looks like a standart stack off unless I shouldn't barrel the turn there?

Oh, and what kind of hands do you like to limp behind/make thin isolations with on the BTN/CO. From the junkier part, some hands with danglers and DS junk I mean.

I'm a HE player and I'm trying to dabble in PLO a bit. Are there any good resources for what kind of game I should be playing preflop to start off with? Is there any typical preflop stats that you would recommend someone try and play when they are first starting off and suck at playing postflop?

In before do not tell someone how loose/tight they should play -hate.. 21/16/5!

But it really depends of villains, your position, stack sizes and dynamics, like in NLHE also. Just try to play hands which can flop well and use position. And if you can get everything in pre with AA it's ok also.

Is Nano stakes PLO rake beatable? I play on a skin with deposit bonus and kickback so I was wondering to build up a BR, would PLO be better than NLHE?

there are villains that fold too much to flop raises. plus there are boards where you can be almost sure villain did not connect well plus you might rep some strong hands.

just be careful. against most villains on most boards this is burning money.
rather focus on value betting the crap out of them.

Re: ***Official SSPLO Beginners Thread - New to PLO? Try this for quick questions/tips/chat***

if a guy at micros 3bets ur UTG in CO and you call pre. Do you ever try to bluff out his AA with a CR? I will often have like 30% against naked AA with all kinds of hands is it worth repping some set to try and fold his AA? I guess I can't rep low pairs too credibly there since not much of those are in my 3bet calling range. Well anyway those junk flops you get with all kinds of backdoors and a **** pair when you have 30% vs AA how do you play it?

Lets say like Tc9s6sJc on 8c5dKs. So I have double BDFD and a gutter and I alrdy have 30% vs AAxx. If I had a 5s instead of the 6s it's already 40%. Do you play these aggressively?
