How to change to another built-in iPoker table theme

(that's for skins having Widget Bar, e.g. WH, Paddy, Laddies, Coral do, but Everest still doesn't)

1. In the poker client, go to Settings -> Widgets, tick 'Show Widget Bar', click 'Apply' and 'OK'.

2. Open any table, click on the right sidebar with yellow arrows to unfold the Widget Bar.

3. Click on the 'Theme Cloud' menu there.

4. Choose the table theme you like the best ('Snake Skin' for me) and click 'Apply'.

5. Reopen the table and check if the theme suits you.

6. If it does, go back to Settings -> Widgets, untick 'Show Widget Bar', click 'Apply' and 'OK'.

Alas these actions need to be redone every time the client is upgraded or reinstalled because the table theme is then reverted to the default one.

Damn, you would think support would tell me about such a feature instead of letting me file a complaint about the new theme :S.

Thanks for pointing that out, I obviously tried the settings, but they didn't exactly make it easy to find the alternative themes.

I am gonna give the industrialized theme a try, but I'm pretty sure it's better than their current theme already.

Is there anything in particular that i should be aware of or is it just generally poor support? I mean I don't care too much about issues such as described above, as long as they process my transactions timely, and it's safe, I'm happy.

Anyone else getting ipoker DQs today? I've had them a couple of times now. I've never even really had them like this. Basically everything just shuts down (all my tables are closed) and I get a message saying that there is no response from the server.
It is really bad today.

edit: It's like every 5 minutes now, gonna take a break from playing.

edit edit: Support says they are having some internal issues. Might only be Paddy related, they don't know yet. Will have to wait and see :/. Will message them in about 1-2 hours.

Just noticed I got a bonus instead of a cash prize from the points hunt promo on Party. Anyone else got that issue?

The bonus can be cashed out only after it's wagered 4 times. I assume that, in poker, it means that the total bet amount (uncalled bets don't count, but calls, blinds and full tourney buy-ins do) should exceed 4 times the bonus. The total amount bet can be checked in PT4 (I guess HM too). It's a bit bigger than 20 times the rake (not exactly 20 times because the rake is 5% but with caps), so if you earn 0.4 points for every $ of the bonus, it should be unlocked. You have 7 days from the bonus issue date to unlock it.

No. The bonus is four points per dollar, so that's equal to 50% RB.

The thing is if they say it's a cash prize it's supposed to be a straight cash prize not a bonus at all, right? The promo page is pretty distinct in that point.

I always read promo T&C but in this case there aren't any. Clicking the link leads you to the general T&C page. I read through the 18 paragraphs, however 99 percent of that was a waste of time.

I don't think that is honest policy on the side of PartyPoker.

It's confusing that you have to rake both before and after claiming the cash to receive it, but that's the modern state of the promotional art for the sake of customer retention.

Clearing of the bonus is way faster than earning it, so there would be no infinite loop even if the promo was running indefinitely long.

Party changed the terms of the bonus midway. Was supposed to be a cash price then became a bonus. Also we were supposed to get another bonus that we could clear at the tables, but it changed to a fastfoward bonus. If you want more info, check the party thread in zoo

anybody else having problems with ipoker (might just be betfair)? I can't connect and keep getting a message saying something about checking internet connection and continuing in offline mode. Internet is fine and I tried uninstall/reinstall so I'm out of ideas.

Hmm, have you checked out iPoker threads in Internet Poker (like this)? That sounds like a familiar bug (I mean, I've seen quite a few complaints), and afaik it's Betfair-exclusive because I've had no such problems with my skins (Laddies, Paddy, Everest, WH, in case someone has forgotten this list, lol).

I've only been playing there for a month but a few days ago I checked and saw I could exchange my points earned for almost 400 euro.

Then today I go to do it and the points have changed to 'non-cashable' points.

But have some of the points disappeared? If not, that should be really strange - there's only one date when cashability of a point can be revoked after it's given - the 1st of April obv.

But in case you're not kidding, I think some skins manually exchange as many points as they can for cash at the beginning of a month / week (so that the RB is 30%), the rest of points is non-cashable and can be used only to buy into some tourneys (mainly MTTs) at some ridiculously low rate. Anyway, the biggest skins do allow 30% RB, it's unlikely that they've screwed you up here.

I'm on Bet Victor. I just spoke with live chat support and was told that points must be exchanged before the end of each month, and was then pointed to the relevant T&C's.

I told them this was ridiculous, how can 400 euro worth of points now be worthless simply because I was a few hours late after a silly 30-day 'deadline'?

I asked her to forward the issue to management and if nothing is corrected that I'll be switching sites.

I do remember this clause of BetVictor's T&C It was irrelevant to me as I could barely wait for the end of a session to exchange the points earned during it, and sometimes was exchanging them even mid-session - I like to keep 15-25 BI at poker sites and don't crush, you know But I was indeed wondering what would happen to points earned during a session beginning in one month but ending in the next one... well, now you've told me the answer (but that would be a minor loss in the big picture).

So it seems it was all a misunderstanding.

The poker manager contacted me and as I have VIP status, 30% rakeback is automatically credited on the 2nd of each month.

Looks like Bet Victor is one of the good guys. Response time was very fast. Props to them.
