Have been quite some while with ladbrokes when they've been on microgaming already. Only just discovered their vip freerolls, but they seem to make every promo just worse and worse. I remember when they had these sng leaderboards and I asked support 3 times for confirmation if the sngs I was playing counted towards that leaderboard and they confirmed it 100% yes. End of story was me playing those sngs the whole month, finishing in place 1 just to receive an email that unfortunally these sngs didn't count towards that promo. standard

Oh, also one time I was sitting 300bb+ deep at a plo table when the table froze. Everything else was running except for that table. It took me 6 days and like 20 emails including me sending hand histories and screenshots to get my initial buyin of 100bb back...

Before they switched over from Microgaming they still had monthly silver and gold freerolls, which had also decreased in value over time, and a quarterly VIP freeroll I think.

Hey guys, does anybody know if when ipoker freezes there is ever trouble with the amount you have at a table registering in the cashier? I'm not 100% what my bankroll was prior to my session, so the cashier count could be off.

Also, does anybody know how active hands are resolved? Say I call a bet on the river with the nuts and at the same time the network dies. What happens to the hand? When it comes back on, it just says everyone is sitting out.

edit: I should probably start taking note of what my bankroll is at the beginning of sessions :/.

I just checked and there were 40 players last month. I'm sure other players can easily access the stats to verify this. Therefore, I can only conclude that all the system problems stopped some people from registering early. It took me a few attempts to register when I tried an hour early as well. Plus, there were the folks who would have registered after 7.45, when the system totally crashed, and in the 1 hour late registration period. It might not have grown by much, say up to 45 runners possibly, but there is no way on earth there would have been less players than last month. Think about it.

Anyone getting server disconnects on ongame?

Well I think everybody got shut out yesterday while playing. Not sure about today.

It's been rescheduled for this Thursday, 20:00 GMT... with the same prize pool (But indeed likely more participants - I was ineligible for it at its original time ) However, it's not exactly a freeroll - it's for 500 points with rebuys (about $10+R if we take into account the alternative of direct exchange of these points in bulk).

The 500 points only applies to rebuys and add ons; not the initial entry. I just realised I am on an omaha thread. I only got on the thread after googling around for news about the outage the other day and hadn't even noticed. Anyhow, good luck on Thursday folks.

Do you really think anyone would be 1-bulletting it with that prize pool? I doubt that 4 rebuys on avg will be enough.

Not in normal circumstances. However, as many old Laddies Microgamers can't stand the new software, which is the very reason Laddies have kicked off with some decent loyalty tournys, then I reckon 30%-40% of the field won't be rebuying. To be honest, of those that do rebuy, I am a little suspicious that some are deliberately building each other's stacks and I am keeping an eye on it. If it keeps on happening, then I am obviously going to report it. Good luck next moth then.

Other iPoker skins have similarly lucrative VIP freerolls. Remember that most entrants of the VIP6 ones are regs anyway, so it's rivalry against rather other iPoker skins than Microgaming imo.

And people will of course rebuy just because the sole fact of them reaching VIP6 means that they have tons of LB points to spend anyway.

That's why the rebuy format of those VIP freerolls sucks. Other iPoker skins roll them out as freezeouts or multientry.

Fancy looking update, let's hope for the best.

Edit: I'm not a fan of the new design, it's a little too "loud". I preferred the old blue design. This is for Paddy. Wish I could change it within the software, but it doesn't look like it. Reminds me more of a casino in Vegas now.

Ladbrokes transferred over all players to ipoker based on their best loyalty status over the whole previous year. Furthermore, some players with certain affiliates, who had raked heavily in the past, were automatically given top level VIP status for a year regardless of whether they had played there in the previous year. Therefore, there will have been many players transferred over, with a high VIP status, who had no loyalty points in their account. The only way they can get points to rebuy in the loyalty freerolls is by playing, as no cash rebuys are allowed. Like I said earlier, for those that really don't like the software it might well not be an option they take.

Ah, now I see why rebuys are needed I thought all VIPs from Microgaming times would have got VIP5, as the old VIP required 10K points a month back then. I didn't know they'd honour the past volume more precisely... this misconception influenced my decision not to rake to them before the migration and use Unibet instead.

Does anybody know a good resource for ipoker mods? This new Paddy theme is too much and you can't even see the bets properly sometimes, because they overlap with the white logo in the background.
