Well after you bet the flop like this and end up the turn then you have to bet turn+river like you did yes.
There are moments to use blockers and there are moments to not use blockers. As almost always in poker (and life), answer to questions is "it depends".
88 is a nice blocker on 567r flop. 88 is a **** blocker on 7TJdd. From there on you have to start considering who your villain is and even more importantly, what you want your own general strategy to look like in different spots.
I'm gonna end this with a quote that actually was an aha-moment for me. It might be obvious to some, but to me it really was an eye-opener. Ben86 made a post saying something like "Good players don't bluff to make money on that bluff". Likewise, the reason to run blocker bluffs is not to make money directly with the blocker bluff.

For the case of nut flush blockers, always remember that you absolutely must have fold equity, and that if you intend to bluff with your blockers, make sure you take the same line as if you actually had the nut flush, that includes bet sizing as well so you can balance this play and make it harder for your opponents to play against you in those spots.

Ah okay nice thanks for your advice and I often bluff to play it the same way as my nut cards and get my opponents guessing and after 3-4 bluffs I wont bluff and I normally cash from them because they get frustrated and can't believe I got it everytime
