next PLO book I should read? next PLO book I should read?

It's been a several-months-hiatus, but now my interest in playing live PLO has returned. I have read Jeff Huang's PLO book, which I found useful. I think I'd like to understand the game a little better conceptually, so I'm thinking of purchasing another book. Not sure which one. I'm considering "Secrets of Professional Pot-Limit Omaha" by Rolf Slotboom as my next investment. For what it's worth, my interest for now is live, not online.

Do you have a better suggestion than the one I alluded to above? Thanks!

Slotboom's book is ok for short-stacking live and also for some very basics. Also read Hwang's Big play strategy and Advanced Pot limit omaha strategy (only read the first, but I think it's a good one for a beginner).

1) are you only suggesting the Volume 1 of Hwang's Advanced PLO because you don't like the 2nd? Or because perhaps I'm not ready for it since I'm relatively new to the game?

2) I don't intend on playing short-stacked, but I wonder if anyone thinks Slotboom's book is helpful if playing against short stacks?

Slotboom is fine. i think it is best suited for your goals now. He played live in Austria shortstacking. It helped me a lot.

But for the best books of all: Tom Chambers! His plo books are the best. This guy explains everything. Every detail. All math.

PLO live must be painful, probs get 20 hands an hour, but I imagine the games to be good
