Opponent wins pot with flush? How is this right? I'm very confused...

In PLO, you have to use two cards from your own hand. So you would be using AQ from your hand in this situation giving you two pair, Aces and Jacks with a Q kicker.

you have three of a kind, 3 aces. your hand is AAAQJ.

two cards from your hand, three from the board.

You have to use two cards in your hand and three cards from the community.

In this hand you would use AQ from your hand and AAJ from the community. This would give you trips with a Q kicker.
