The Galfond pot actually was bigger than I remembered. Add another 11k to the redline, lol. I prob shove turn in Galfond's shoes to avoid bad river folds - and red line concerns

Give Vertonghen time imo, he'll be back

We need a new centerback for next season though

KKxx, AQJ9hhcc / A345hhcc IMHO

I hear Isildur might be looking for action, GGaRJ, like to see how your red line holds up then
03-17-2014 , 02:46 PM
Would be fun to play him, I'll def give him action if he wants to start a 10/20 ante table with me. Prob too low though

Had KK myself, obv, and Galfond knows that

At least Spurs spent the Bale-money very well..... LOL, always in the shadow!

Ban. We have class in this thread if you haven't noticed!! Where Nemesis camps communicate in an honorable samurai (foster thy enemy) fashion. The humour is quite evolved here, your gonna need to bring a higher standard of posting to the table imo in future.

Also SSPLO LC is my well bra.

You can't come in my well with your ball sac hanging out.

I don't ball like that.

I actually believe that, Chelsea are probably the only other contenders (lol Demechelis) and a lot of their strong defensive showings come from their midfield and the way Mourinho sets them up. We've appeared to be "lucky" in a few games this season but actually we've won them due to Kos and Merte being so solid.

And actually Chelsea are the only team to have conceded fewer than us (edit: was wrong here, City one fewer also, just checked), and we've conceded 5 and 6 in a couple of times this season...

Didn't see a lot of the game yesterday but I don't think you should judge teams on local derbies, and look at our injury list too. I think we still have an outside chance if we can hold Chelsea and beat City, easier said than done obv, the fixture list after those two is pretty soft.
LOL Surprised not to have been picked up on this already

Well I had a great weekend, lose 6-0 with probably the most inept performance I've ever seen from a team in a game of that magnitude, was embarassing, whilst I went away to play chess and lost two games (out of two). Being a dad obv catching up with me quicker than anticipated

Agreed.

Also dont worry shimmy. Could be worse. You could concede 6 goals twice in a season !!

We wouldn't stoop so low as to start gloating

Hahaha, I thought joining the "kids-as-excuse"-club would take a bit longer, but I bid you welcome nonetheless

When Spurs began Sunday's game with two more reverse jaw-droppers, I nearly turned the TV off. But how's about that, they actually made me proud in the end! Not too many of those moments this season, lol

You don't have too much to gloat about TBH, having failed to score against us on no less than three occasions this season
03-24-2014 , 04:21 PM
lol, for some reason ur defense always steps up vs us... not to mention our attack choking.

Ur right, not much to gloat about, awful lot to be bitter about :/

Yeah it was probably our best display at home this season in the PL, and it says a lot that we have taken six points off Soton who are just below the "top six".

I'm a bit torn over Sherwood. On one hand, i'd just like a coach that picks Eriksen in the middle (either 8 or 10) but on the other, it is nice to see a young English manager getting a chance.

I'm already quietly optimistic about next season! Despite the naysayers berating our summer business, its only Soldado who has been a major flop. OK Lamela has done next to nothing either, but he has been injured and he tanked in his first season in Italy before GOATing last season. Of the other players Chadli has the physical and technical attributes to be a very decent player, and is much improved recently; Chiriches i thought was very good (better than Vertonghen since he came back from injury...) and Capoue has done ok and we could certainly get our money back. Eriksen is obviously the jewel in the crown, and if we don't make the step to the CL, then when he leaves we'll get £40m+.

Assuming we miss the CL next season, i'd like to see the squad trimmed considerably. We have a lot of midfielders who are very similar, and it does none of them any good to play one game then miss the next 2. I'd probably move Holtby, Siggy, Lennon and Capoue on, which still leaves Paulinho, Sandro, Dembele and Bentaleb to cover the 2 midfield slots.
