Sorry for bumping super old thread.

How would you guys think the smallstakes landscape for NLHE VS PLO looks today?

Maybe it is better to learn PLO to move up in stakes?

Whats your opinion?

From my own perspective having transitioned from small stakes nlhe to plo, plo firstly is (as the poster said above) way more addictive than nlhe and imo way more fun.

People are generally shocking at low stakes, lots of holdem players barreling top pair/bottom set etc.

Beating plo at 4x what i was beating holdem at playing the same stakes (although rake is higher and i'm on a sick heater, ev is 3x) and i'm probably worse at plo atm than I am at nlhe.

I just started playing again after almost 2 years and I find that there are still a lot of bad players at the micros on up to 3/6. There are really good players too but it's really easy to spot the sucker at the table. They're either over aggro and raise 90% PF or are super passive call 3 and 4 bets OOP pre and call at least one bet after that with 2 pair or chasing low flushes. So I think most of the games over the last several years are still soft and profitable.

Thanks guys,

I am actually gonna start to play PLO a Little i just have to learn it now.

Any recommendations? Feels a bit Strange leaving NLHE but at the same time i feel more towards learning PLO as IT seems Indeed a lot more fun.

No poker game can beat the great game of pot limit omaha. But I warn you, once you taste it there is no way back
