Someone straddled, few callers, I make it $50 to go with AcJh8c5h, villian calls, straddler calls.

Straddler shoves for ~$70, I call, villian makes it $250.
I tank/call (villian has a habit of protecting his big hands, not draws).
Turn 9h
I check, villian bets $600, leaving ~less than 300 behind.
whats the best play?

first you have to give your positions... Depending on that this hand may be a fold/call pre...But as played...why you tanking? Your giving away your hand, if the guy can make any live reads at all...Fold the turn...

in a 1/3 plo game, how can you raise to $50 after a straddle and a couple of callers? (1+3+6+6+6....pot raise is $34).

also, you don't really have a big pot hand preflop. yes you have a suited ace, but the gaps are pretty large. you crushed the flop (aces up + the nfd !!) (and turned a bad gutter), and you're not sure about how to proceed. it seems you would have rather played a smaller pot, which could have been accomplished by not raising pre.

as the previous poster said, what are your positions? is the villian in the blinds or on the button? are you in middle position or co?

you can straddle up to 5x bb im guessing...prob how we get the $50 raise( i know would be a raise to 49)

Really gross but if I call flop I'm prob not folding turn once we pick up the gutter. Hopefully u can run it twice in this game

Ya it's def house dependent. Most home games u can run ur portion of the pot however many times u want. And most live players I play with will run it twice. We usually run it 3x in my game which is ****ing awesome IMO

In my main game which is in a public card room, we can run it one , two , or three times. If one (or more) player is all in, the side pot(s) has its own rules.

yeah, it seems when there are 3 people in the pot, business is done less in the games by me...I usually run it once or leave it up to the other person... the psycology of the game is so important that i try my hardest to get people on tilt...Felting people is a good way to do this..
