villain 29/25 over 20 hands

Poker Stars, $0.05/$0.10 No Limit Omaha Cash, 6 Players
Poker Tools Powered By Holdem Manager - The Ultimate Poker Software Suite.

    SB: $8.43 (84.3 bb)
    BB: $9.75 (97.5 bb)
    UTG: $16.17 (161.7 bb)
    MP: $9.85 (98.5 bb)
    Hero (CO): $11.98 (119.8 bb)
    BTN: $79.81 (798.1 bb)

    Preflop: Hero is CO with J T Q 4
2 folds, Hero raises to $0.35, BTN raises to $1.20, 2 folds, Hero calls $0.85

Normally I'd just fold this pre but since both blinds weren't fullstacked and likely weaker players, I decided to still open this one.

    Flop: ($2.55) K A T (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $1.70, Hero calls $1.70

Thought about raising here but I don't have any redraws, it will be super obvious what I have and almost half of the turns change the nuts. So my plan was to just call and x/pot turns.

    Turn: ($5.95) J (2 players)
Hero bets $5.70, BTN calls $5.70

On this specific one however, I thought he would check back most sets and FDs and therefore just jammed for value/protection.

    River: ($17.35) 8 (2 players)
Hero bets $3.38 and is all-in

Unfortunate spot now. I don't really think worse calls or better folds but neither that I can x/f getting these odds. In the end I just said f it and was hoping for the rare herocall by AA or to fold him off of a chop.

    Comments on any street welcome.

Open is fine, and the call is fine. Even if you haven't got a huge sample, at PLO10 a lot of 3bets are AA/KKXX and you are still like a ~35%+ (unless he particularly has only KQTJ or a better variation on QJTX).

    I am fine with flop.

At these stakes, I prefer c/r on the turn rather than a donk as leading leaves you with awkward stacks on the river. He think he still continues some sets and combo flush draws, especially now the backdoor flush is now in play.

As played, with the remaining stack it doesn't really matter, but again at these stakes I would check call allowing him to bluff the spade as you are getting it in either way.

i think you played it fine on all streets.

but keep in mind that when the BTN 3bets the CO, it's a much wider range than most 3bets.
