Limped 3way pot: trips + FD facing pot raise

SB checks, Hero bets $0.29, MP raises to $1.16, SB folds, Hero raises to $3.77, MP raises to $7.13 all in, Hero calls $3.36- not happy at all stacking off but though that I have enough equity with my FD but I made some calculation and vs very strong range: A8,89+,8: (,JT+) I have only 31%!!! Have I overplayed my hand in this spot?
Maybe better plan is to call flop and probably all turns except A and fold river unimproved?
