It's a myth. According to the plan of phasing dollars out posted

William Hill Poker uses a "rounding mechanism feature" which is always beneficial to the player and players never lose that 1 cent when they sit at a table or top up. In fact, we are only showing two digits after the decimal for graphical considerations.
I've been too lazy to check this, but it's of course easily verifiable, as long as there's been some history of topping up (compare net winnings as per the account history and according to tracking software).
A bigger problem is that rates used to give player points for euro games are out-of-date. E.g. Betfair and Paddy give 20 pts for $1 of rake but merely 25 for €1, so the rate is 25/20=1.25; Everest uses ~1.29; WH - 34/25=1.36 (it used to be 33/25=1.32); Titan used to apply 22/17~1.29 for tourney fees but customer complaints have resulted in 23 pts being awarded per €1 of fee instead of 22 (23/17~1.35). The biggest rate is at Ladbrokes (14/10).
Everyone, whine to your skins' supports, maybe they'll hear and increase the point rate for € games.
