Not a moan as such, because the straight flush was a shortie, and the side pot more than made up for losing the smallish main pot. Just want to share an interesting hand. Short-handed, flops straight-flush V top set v second set, rivers straight-flush V Top house v Quads. Only in PLO?

pre is very questionable vs. a very tight player, as well as with a shortstack behind you. even tho the SB doesn't 3bet a lot, he may be tempted to squeeze a lot since he could be tilted or w/e from what caused him to be shortstacked.

4way on the flop i think i just check behind and try to realize my equity. flushes won't fold, and it's not like you're going to try to double barrel to get str8s to fold as was evident on the turn. once u bet flop and check back turn you really cap your range.

wp on river, bb really caps his range but just calling there so he usually has KK/TT instead of the str8 flush, and might even have Qc to go with it sometimes so he'd be more confident calling

Not sure folding to one raise at btn with JJQ4 is the way to go, especially given the low number of 3 bets on the table. Shortie in the SB was short because he bought-in short. Its the type of hand that rarely gets you in much trouble, and you do have position to either steal or play pot control.

Betting the flop and checking the turn indicate either a non-nut flush or two-pairs/set, or air making a positional bet, which is a nice range to set the cap on. With one caller only (especially if its the preflop raiser UTG), its an easy second bullet at the turn, but with two callers from the blinds, checking it back might seem the better option.

Even if BB had raised the pot at river, can we really get away from this hand, given that stacks weren't exactly super-deep? If anything, surely we should be going over the top, as most full-house would than be committed given the stacks?
