so villian seems pretty donkish only got 250 hands running something like 60 40 15 over this sample which is suprisingly low but not many hands as i say so a bit skewed i guess..

anyways to the hand pretty simple flop decision but wanted to ask if this 4 bet is std against someone who been 3 betting 18% overt this small sample..







just wondering if my 4 bet is spew , obv its gross if he 5 bets cause most of the time he will have aaxx right and my equity kind of sucks. everyone like just playing post here ?

Against very aggressive 3bettors this is a fine 4bet candidate, although usually I prefer to 4bet more deceptive hands like middling to low rundowns as on the high boards we're still likely to get a lot of credit when cbetting and on the middle-low boards that we smash villain may try to rep himself.

You can't really get much information out of a small sample size but if his stats were representative of his tendencies it makes this hand too weak to 4bet for value if my numbers are correct.

It's really close, not really pushing much of an edge here.

I probably would just flat with a hand like that since we are so underrepped but my HU game is not great. I don't think the 4-bet is really bad, depends on how aggressive they are and based on the stats you have over 250 hands they seem like a pretty passive player. Both VPIP and PFR look low and his 3-bet is also on the low end, this leads me more just calling with a premium hand in position. I typically like to 4-bet with really strong double suited middling rundowns myself hu.

I don't think the 4-bet is near as spewy as you think though. When we get 5-bet we assume he has either super premium kings or AA and get away from the hand when we are dominated and when he isn't we're pretty close to flipping and we have position and he will fold hands he shouldn't from time to time postflop.

Obvious flop is obvious and you GII especially after 4-betting.
