i posted this in MTT forum, but nobody responded. guess they dont know omaha over there.

i was chipleader when we played the biggest pot of the tournament by far. maybe 15 players left in this 6 max plo MTT. im new to plo, so maybe this is reaaaly bad or just unlucky. not sure. anyway, i checked and looks like i had 38% equity when we went all in. should i not have called because my flush draw was only 2nd nut? and i knew my top pair was probably crap. should i have feared AAxx or KKxx too much? (he was pretty tight player) or i guess maybe i should have just played it slower? check / call, fold on turn...? i got there, but he GOT THERE.

converter said invalid header, but it's obviously not working. is somebody looking into this bug? i see a few people making comments that the HH converter "isn't working". how hard is it to have it simply save the hands that return invalid header so somebody up top can debug? or maybe im just dumb and actually cut n pasted wrong...

feedback appreciated. i'm 6th of 9 and it's still going. hopefully i'll make my first plo final table.

hey, i played with you in a 2$ rebuy yesterday

first things, puke da luke! the first hand call is disgusting! AQ28 is just like 36 in hold em, there is not point to the hand (outside chances of straights) and you dont even have a suited ace. this is an easy fold preflop.
On flop it is 100% you are not ahead here and putting it in with just a flushdraw is horrible, so fold.

2nd hand kinda meh, you do have gut shot and flush draw all be it none to the nuts. reads on the players would be nice. you could probably just fold this pre also with only 20BB.

converter doesnt work for plo tournies me thinks. to make it work replace the header with a cash game header (and edit the blinds to be the same as the tourny blinds)

Well, preflop was awful but the flop's super-standard in hand 1. I'm never folding top pair + FD that shallow.

everything about hand 1 is awful, but i especially hate tangling with the other big stack with a marginal hand, when you can weild your stack against the other players and make free money while they wait for a hand to shove with

thanks for the advice guys, please be as brutal as possible as im really new and would really like to learn. i guess i just didn't know hand 1 was so bad. i don't know starting hand values yet.
