I took advantage of the free trial at deucescracked.com and downloaded every single PLO video. Then I was hooked and had to continue my membership. It's well worth the $30 a month, IMO. The PLO videos are absolutely vital to improving your game.

I've heard Bluefire Poker and cardrunners are also good, but I can't comment. Others around here can give you critiques, though.

Good thread can't believe missed it!

Another thumbs up for William Jockusch's "Pot-Limit Omaha: Understanding Winning Play". Again, its an easy to read book, good info and its keeping Hwangs books on the shelf atm!

Re: Guide to Small Stakes Pot Limit Omaha by us

This thread is very good for beginners. Will be able to cut down on repeated questions here.

fwiw though IMO Jeff Hwang's second book, Advanced PLO: Short handed and Small Ball Strategy, is terrible as an intermediate player's book, especially the 120 or so hands he put up which he claims to be advanced level, but really, it's just level one or level two thinking. You're better off just reading 120 forum threads instead. I also dislike the fact that many of those hands are played on the electronic poker machine, Excalibur or whatever. I don't know, just feels weird. And at $25 it's pretty expensive, too, since most other books are $10-$18. You can probably learn more from a month's subscription of training videos

His first book is amazing for newcomers though. No credit should be taken away from his work there.

EDIT: also as i said, it would be great if somebody can recommend good videos (cardrunners, deucescracked or bluefire) or any other stuff like e-books. there is not much there anyway, but i would still like to get recommendations, as i barely have enough time for playing...
Welp, there's a thread on the second page. Nice looking, man.

i already read that thread, theres nothing in it (except "there are videos on some training sites").

anyway, if somebody found some videos or e-books especially helpful for HU i would be greatful for the recommendation (like videos by a certain player, not just go to CR and watch anything).

thanks

I'm not sure if the links are going to break when it archives... you may need to bump the individual threads (at least, the ones that aren't in archives already).
