Not sure what his calling range is on this flop but is this turn simply a bet/barf call or what? Dude has like 30ish behind after calling flop..

Do something that involves putting more money into the pot, preferrably something that will make villain want to put the rest of his money in too.

Edit, to explain the math here: SPR is almost exactly 1 here. So you would need 33% to break even if villain has a straight 100% of the time and you get it in on turn, and you have 30% against that. Villain does not have a straight 100% of the time. So do whatever you can to put more money in plz.

I think I'd probably bet smallish ($11?) and then call if he raises you. Bet/folding is obviously wrong as you are priced in to call (even if you bet a third of the pot, you have about 24% equity even against AKQT, so the bet commits). I think bet/call is better than check/call because I think some strong straight draws call a bet, but check behind if you check.

Check/folding is possible. Might even be right, if you think he nearly never bluffs with a two-pair/set + draw type of hand. You're saving 18-22BB's if actually against the straight. Exploitable for sure, but could be the right play.

I think if you're called on the turn and the boat doesn't complete you have to seriously think about check/folding on the river which is disgusting.

It was serious, just probably wrong.

A or a 9 is horrible, because some combination of TJ is his most likely holding. This turn is more likely to have given Vil 2pr plus straight draw and as such I would see it as a beautiful turn because he is never folding those hands. Pot.

Anyway, Loctus won this thread.
