I know I've got it on the flop here, but I also realize I don't have any draws beyond that other than backing into a boat. So was this a good spot to stack off?

I don't think you should bet/fold top set here.

I just realized I have his book last night. Are you saying it's bad...Obviously I'm new to PLO.

Edit:
Actually I may have already read it a few years ago and don't remember...I'm just getting back into playing.

Villain has 76.8 bb behind and is raising to 59 of that. So it basically doesn't matter EV-wise, but you should jam to avoid a future misclick or save yourself from making a nitfold later in the hand.

Okay, thanks this was what I was wondering.

There's a PLO quick check up thread you should visit. But this hand would barely qualify for that. I'm sure if you flick through your database, you'll find some more interesting spots than whether or not jamming top set otf is correct.

OP could you explain your thought process in which you're unsure of if it's a good idea to stack off with top set here a bit more? What other ways would you consider playing this?

Yeah so basically my thoughts are this- Yes I have the nuts OTF but my hand has no additional draws to it unless of course the board pairs and I have a full house but obviously that's not happening very often. So with that said getting it all in OTF against one opponent is in my best interest but in this situation I'm stacking off against two other hands. Sure like everyone says ITT I have the nuts but I'm not drawing to anything. We all know PLO is a game of draws. Three kings doesn't stay the nuts very long. So that makes me wonder if I should slow down and see what the turn and river brings before I get all the money in. If the board didn't have straight and flush draws on it then this wouldn't be a question but I wonder how great is it to get my stack in against not one but two players with possibly multiple draws in their hands combined for an outrageous amount of outs against me. That is why I wondered if I should take a card or two before having a flip fest or worse.

It's sort of risky to use phrases like 'PLO is a game of draws' (or 'a game of the nuts') to inform your decisions, because they are vague platitudes that don't mean all that much, tbh. Same goes for a lot more lines in your post.

Play around with equity sims (against ranges, not specific hands). Your hand will be anywhere from somewhere above 33% (3-way) to 60%+, and likewise either flipping HU or a substantial favorite. Good NFD-based combo draws have a lot less upside to be crushing. In the worst-case scenario for being 'up against an outrageous number of outs', you are still a pretty big (plurality) favorite:

1) You should have a concrete idea how frequently you'll catch a full house by the river. This makes it seem like you're just guessing and making a decision based on that guess.

2) Like Rei showed above, you don't need to have the other guys crushed. You just need enough equity.
