Do you like the preflop defend? How is the flop peel with such great odds? I thought the turn was an interesting decision and pretty close. Both CO and BTN will be priced in so I have 9 nut outs 4 way and potentially some of my non nut outs will be good.

Poker Stars $0.05/$0.10 Pot Limit Omaha Hi $0.02 Ante - 6 players

Never folding pre. Flop standard, but don't like turn. Every1 pretty much committed and there are probably more hearts out there + Qh and 5h might not help you.

//Ah didn't see you are SSing as well. Still i don't think stacking off that hand on the turn is

Not sure on the numbers exactly but I'd probably close my eyes and put it in at this SPR.

Isn't that a good thing?

Ran some math, if you think all hearts are live, it's +EV, all besides Qh & 5h, then it's slightly losing and when you are against a set and someone has hearts, you're in ****.

I think you're better off squeezing pre at this stack depth.

SB almost certainly has 43, I figured it was probably a fold as Q, 5 and J could all be dead and I'd assume at least 2 outs are in other people's hands. But running sims with different ranges it looks like you probably have 23.5%+ and even worst case ranges are still 20.5%. So 4 ways at 60bb, I guess it's a call (~$5.40 to win ~$24.10).

Why were you short though?

For me 3bet pre. would depend on reads with the T and 7.

In Tommy Angelo's 'Elements of Poker' he suggests you should always buy in for the minimum when you first join a table. There are a couple reasons why usually start with the minimum. The first is that even if you want to go to 100 bb right away, you are better off buying in for say 40 bb or w/e the minimum is and then adding on another 60 bb after you have folded in the SB so that you have the 100 bb in play starting when you are the button. But that's not why I do it.

Optimal stack size is a function of your opponents' stack sizes and their skill levels. Let's say you are playing poker with three whales and 2 world class players. The world class players are both very deep and the whales are all short stack. Obviously in this scenario you would also like to be short stack. When I first sit down at a table and am still getting reads on people I like to be short stacked. You can always add on more chips but you are not able to take chips off as rat holing is prohibited.

It is facile to say that you should always top up for max; I prefer to make add on decisions based on conditions on the table and generally to add on after the veil of ignorance is pierced, I get a good read on what is going on at the table and I decide conditions are optimal.

Im sure MP, BTN and SB are all world class 10PLO superstars. How high did they rank in ploT's power ranking?
