Re: Is a forum split into micro and low something for us?

i think if we dont want to mess around with the medium high that exists

micro 2-25
small 50-200
high- 400+

this would be cool and good imo.

Re: Is a forum split into micro and low something for us?

As a micro stakes player who has played probably 15 hands at PLO25, I don't know if a split is necessary at this point. I say this because is there enough content that can be split out?

What might work is moving PLO200 to HSPLO forum.

Re: Is a forum split into micro and low something for us?

I feel like the difference between plo micros and plo100+ is enough to warrant a split between small stakes and micros. Someone learning in the micros and someone playing in plo50/100/200 are going to be asking different questions and learning different things and won't benefit as much from reading each other's threads.

Re: Is a forum split into micro and low something for us?

I went back a couple of weeks and counted how many new threads there are each day. Appears to be about ten on average.

On one page you see 25 threads. That means, if somebody responds within a reasonable time, a post will not drop out of page. That is: apparently no need for a split. It's all PLO, after all.

Maybe there could read what stakes it's about in every title? I'll try to write it's PLO2 when I'm posting in the future. Then those who want can look at it, and those who don't, can skip it.

+1 on it being fine the way it is.

Yea, guess we could be a bit nittier with thread titles, just add stakes always if OP forgot

+1, stakes in the title are a must.

With an exception for plaaynde, who is recognisable.

Btw sorry for attempting mocking, I thought plaaynde used to play higher stakes LO8 but it was only .25/.50-.50/1, so he's at PLO2 not because he's afraid of the new game, but due to his bankroll requirements. I just thought people tend to try out the nanos heavily overrolled to get their feet wet in the new game for cheap, whereas I prefer to play according to my bankroll when I switch games.

Don't want to hijack my own thread , but I'm trying to combine BRM and assuring the skills are good enough. I just like the thought of beating myself up the levels. Mostly it's about BRM and skill assurance, but pure curiosity to see what the different levels have to offer and a bit of obsession with thoroughfullness plays a role too.
