Hi...thought this hand was kinda interesting, I mean I nearly folded to his second min raise but lol PLO2 just ship it....I mean are we even good here the majority of the time considering we have the Ks too?

Not using HUD but have no note or tag on him. Obv a fish that likes his hand but it's super rare for someone to go full steam ahead with a Q high flush here at zoom and with the pot this small. Do you all play it the same way or are the beats sending me crazy?

Yes get it in every time unless you're very deep (which you aren't). Villain's line looks very strong with the double min-raise but really don't think you can fold this.

Guessing you ran into a straight flush, which is why you posted?

Yeah he obv had it but just thought it's kinda interesting because it's a limped pot and I have the Ks...and because of the board...

You wouldn't have posted this if he didn't have a straight flush.

Saying that, looking over the hand again, fish play their hands extremely face up with their bet sizing. They min-raise because they think 'hey if I min-raise, it keeps him in the pot, he doesn't need to pay much to call, I don't want to scare him away, maybe he thinks I'm bluffing with this tiny bet size' not realising that to any half decent player, the min-raise from a fish is a sign of huge strength. The double min-raise just gives it away.

I take back the comments in my first post, I think you could actually fold this, but maybe I'm being results oriented

By all accounts we are pretty deep here. It's a limped pot and so SPR is still very high and we only have the 4th nuts against a fish showing super strength. I think I'm folding when he clicks it back a 2nd time.

Villain doesn't always have to have straight flushes here though. He can have things like set + gutshot straight flush draw, two pair + queen high flush, set + any flush, hands like that. Agree though that the second min-raise in particular does look super strong.

don't see fish playing these hands like this tbh. they rather call and try to hit ime. unless i've seen villain overplaying mediocre flushes hardcore or just trying to minraise bluff a lot, i'm folding after second minraise and do not feel bad about it.

PLO2 readless... I don't think I can physically fold here.... The fact that he's minraising tells me he's very weak.... I think there are sets in villain's range here.. A random weak (9,T)J-high flush maybe... GII and be thankful there are players like this swimming around your player pool.

you can fold here rather easily, but never at plo2 imo.

If you are going with the hand always, did you consider playing it slower? Bet/call flop and check/raise non-pairing turns, say.

In my experience, $2plo players players don't fold flushes, but they don't go to the next level with air either. You can still get all the money in before the river by playing slower. You lose the same to the straight-flush, but get more out of his bluffs.

A paired turn would be ugly, but you have one of those cards (the 6), so it's less likely. And if he has a set or to pair, he will call a flop reraise anyway, and playing a paired turn will be just as ugly as if you had bet-called.

If he keeps firing on a paired board after flop bet/call, you can think about folding. Or not, but you have the option.

    Thoughts?
