think raising is better than calling, I'd be happy to take the pot down now and also happy if he gets the money in with us. Think if you call it just takes away the chance of winning the pot now and we don't want to see a club etc on river

I think we raise pot here and hope to take it down. But flush + OESD gives you enough to GII if villain repops.

Just call. All we're doing is charging draws with a raise. Naked AK rarely pots turn like this. Villain will pretty much play perfectly against us potting it.

you can't go too wrong either way imo.

equity wise shoving should do fine, playing rivers IP is a nice prospect too.
as mcnasty points out, it is easier for villain to play vs us potting turn.

Any thoughts on calling the bet with a view to barrel either flush card or str8 card on river?

Yeah. I think that's ok. But where you might want to start thinking differently about this hand is on the flop. You 3bet PF then checked the flop giving you opponent a chance to take control of the hand! Of course he's going to bet the turn. Calling the turn isn't bad but I still think raising is good too.

Yes and no. If he has clubs we're basically putting in money drawing thin and usually he'll have A/K clubs given his starting position. So expect a x raise. Checking allows us option in position to get more equity if a good turn hits such as this one. It also narrows villains range now if he is willing to pot a turn it usually means he has string heads that he wants to protect
