Should I have jammed turn, and is there anyway we should be getting away from this on the river?

I only looked at the hand and thought about it before i even read your question or looked at the spoiler.

My first thought was: Such an ugly river! So annoying to fold here. We need to win only 20% of our calls, but i cant really see that. But maybe someone can explain if this is totally wrong. I can`t see BB jamming here anything worse than a full. Also because you have the A-high flush blocker. Or do you have a read on BB that he is doing kind of crazy things?

In think 678 of hearts on the boards makes a fold a bit easier because there is also the risk of running into the straight flushes (4h5h,5h9h,9h10h).

My first thought was that jamming turn has no real value but i am actually not really sure about that. Brain doesn`t really work atm.

Based on my own subjective experience i say this is a fold. I know that i used to call in this kind of spots because of hatetomissuglyriverneedtoseeifhereallyhasitdespera tecall-tilt and my results are better since i stopped doing that.

Did you ask yourself why you called? Did you really think that it is +EV? I am only asking you know - not judging.

Yeah it's annoying to fold river when you have good odds and it's possible bb is just sticking it in with a worse flush. Fold is probably best though.

With a hand like this, you need an enormous equity advantage to shove with no fold equity. I added every 9-high straight, every hh & dd combo, and every set to both players' ranges, to form an upper bound, and that got us up to 40%. It's very unlikely you'll have that, to say the least.

The river is highly player dependent, coming down to what the flop bet means. Ruling out sets makes this a call; there's going to be enough 96+hh. But including sets (even just 88) means you have to include numerous flopped combo draws and other hybrids with worse hearts to get to a call. You probably have substantial idiot equity no matter what, so I don't hate a call, but it seems to be leaning more toward a fold.

Isn't this implied from just saying "A-high flush"?

Yeah , need information on the players, preflop reads are also huge in swingin the ratios. The only hand we can't raise against is 69, so alot of the time i'm just raising the flop.

River, vacuum, it would have to be a sick fold that will leave you feeling uncomfortable. No **** that just call it off look at the odds and BB can have a flush with a weaker straight. It's really trivial overall.
