yeah the only reason to call the flop as opposed to raising is if you think you can fold a 7 or a 5 so i have no idea what you are thinking/doing here

I have problems to figure that out too.

Thanks for the input, I'll try to shove the flop next time.

I also have problems figuring out what villain may have had to play this way, especially on the turn. Bluff? Two pairs, thinking I had trips/full house when I raised on the turn? He should have stayed in, I think. I raised the turn taking into account his stack, thinking he naturally would call. Super surprise fold.

If we imagine the flop was played as played (even if it was suboptimal), was even my turn move correct?

Re: Did I suck in this hand or not?

Lol vs this very bluffy BB you can play the same next time, but generally shove the flop especially because you've got a top pair which is also a topset blocker (though balancing is irrelevant at PLO2, oops), that's the perfect situation I was talking about in the 'Shenanigans' thread.
P.S. And please move to PLO25 at least asap.

Re: Did I suck in this hand or not?

First, your AIEV is still positive. Secondly, rake kills at PLO2, it kills less at PLO50 because the rake cap is 5bb (instead of 15bb for PLO2) and higher VIP statuses are obtainable (the difference between Supernova and smaller levels is large). Thirdly, you may be playing vs terribads worse than vs regs because you have some background of facing regs at higher PLO8 levels. Fourthly, if you lose at higher PLO levels due to variance, you can return your losses switching back to PLO8.

This sounds good, I like challenges. Who will win, me or Mr Rake?

Seriously, I've only played fixed limit O8, I'm in fact a bit surprised I switched to PLO...But ok, I started out with play money NL Holdem some years ago, so the big bets concept is not totally strange...and I've even been ALL-IN sometimes when I've played fixed limit, when about to lose my last cents, so I've got some experience of it...looks this didn't become so serious, after all...
