To answer your questions:
1. No, don't raise. I guess you thought to raise because you had a weak made hand with weak draws and wanted to get folds?
yeah on boards like this people seem to fold a lot and I would have been happy to take it down on the flop, then also not too unhappy if one of them comes with me to the turn and not be too scared of many cards on the turn to keep betting, maybe i save the bluff raising to just one opponent in the hand on boards like this and it would work better?
thanks for responses guys I'll end up folding on the turn as yeah both my straight draws and flush draws don't even draw to the nuts.
with preflop..........
ok so this was my worst hand of the session and that is why I posted it.
on pokerstars I fold this hand instantly. On a site where I'm playing vs very bad players (not saying I am good) putting in $0.70 preflop doesn't seem too bad when they end up stacking off with some really bad holding postflop (aware this is a silly statement to make when I have just posted this hand
) but yeah although in the future I'll try to fold hand so bad as this- I don't think you can go too wrong putting in $0.70 preflop with a lot of hands in position.
I might be very wrong writing that but here it costs me my stack, and usually costs me $0.70 quite often, but people are often very tilted, going crazy and I'd be interested to know if it is that huge of a mistake.
I would be open to hearing more about preflop hand selection vs bad players if people want to talk more about it? I mainly just guess as no software on this site to analyse hands.
in summary- I'll fold hands this bad in the future- but still play a lot of weakish hands in position i think, on the flop I am still a bit unsure and on the turn I fold.
thanks again for the replies
