Looking for comments on these two hands :

Hand 1 :

I have 320 hands on villain , he's 41/17 with a 3bet % of 2% - he's basically a calling station - so very difficult to read . He's never folding to a 3bet preflop.

Hand #1 - Hero should push. Your 9 is a blocker to the 9 on the board.

Hand #2 - Should've checked the flop. That's a fugly flop for high cards. In a vacuum, given only betting action as info., you have to decide am I being raised due to draw value of my opponent's hand, or due to strength of opponent's hand wanting to prevent other draws.

Very difficult to know ITS, with little info. on our opponent.

It then shifts back to your overall strategy. Why am I playing? What is my overall goal? Am I comfortable taking a risk here? How much would busting in this hand hurt my bankroll/table image/psyche?

Hand 1. Call pre flop. You are in a real mess on the turn and i honestly don't think c/f is bad.

Hand 2. Check flop and see what happens. This is a super wet board, and by betting we are just building a similar situation to hand 1.

Stack size in hand 1 is real awkward OTT. Probably just c/f. And as others have said I just flat pre flop. We were pretty lucky to get it HU and we still find ourselves in a not-so nice spot.

Hand 2 is an easy b/f when we bet but I would check somewhat often.

Def flatting pre in hand 1. Hand 2 is fine, b/f flop.
