Hi,

if someone is interested then here is a table where you can see who big the impact of betsizing can be.

The numbers in the table are calculated per 100 situations and a 10bb pot.

Should be right the numbers...

So: If i bet pot (100%) and villain folds 50%, then this bet is +-0. If you bet 70% pot and villain folds only 20%, then this is -360bb per 100 situations...

And before anyone starts to say "But you have to consider this and that..."
Everyone can decide himself for what he uses this food for thought.

I've never considered fold equity to be very well defined mathematically in PLO in comparison to say NLHE since your opponents are going to have equity to continue with more often so it's always been kind of a "feel" in a given spot (and by feel I mean like stacksizes, board texture, player tendencies etc.).

Interesting concept but, cool post.

The decision in which context you use this chart you have to make yourself. I can understand that your first thought is that "we have 0% equity...". But i would take this one more as a basic which you can use for different situations.

The dude from PLO5. I just use 1/2, 2/3, 3/4 standard bet sizes (PS) based on board texture, unless I know the guy is really bad (10-20 sample good enough 4 me), then I just cbet 1/2 on 9tjhhs board (if I miss).

Sounds a bit too easy but if it works for you... Did you check, your stats? Is this working? What`s the foldequity in these spots?
