Where do you see PLO in the future? Do you think the games (plo) progression will be faster or slower than NLHE's was in terms of the learning curve?

From now on I'll read the posts above me so I don't repeat the same questions.

Did you think I was terrible (mikeyG16) the few times we played HU?

What type of opponent do you find yourself having the hardest time beating? i.e what type of style do you think works best against your very laggy strategy?

Who are you up the most on lifetime HU PLO?

What do you think there needs to be done for there to be a PLO explosion in the same way that NHLE exploded a few years back? Is this even possible given that PLO is a more complicated game, especially for the casual viewer to follow along?

thanks for doing the well!!! great answers so far.

what generally tends to happen when a hyper aggressive player such as yourself comes up against an equally hyper aggressive player, and you both "won't be pushed around". do you find the chips get in the centre a lot more with marginal hands in these match ups?

do you sports bet, or indulge in other gambling aside from poker for large sums of money? please can you say one large bet you have made if you have and your reasoning for the bet.

did you ever envisage you would reach the heights that you have? did you think you would be "rich" from playing poker when you first started beating the 2 5 £ game in your local casino?

and finally, if there was one person in the world you had to give a million £ to play the highest online PLO games (you keep profit and you don't have to know them personally), who would that person be?

If you could go back to when you began ur career and give yourself a couples pieces of advice what would you tell yourself?

What advice would you give someone trying to move up and make this a career?

That graph's insane. Not just for the raw numbers either. If I'm calculating it correctly, that's an average of over 30 PTBB/100 for a 40K hand sample. I'd be hugely impressed even seeing that at 5/10.

some more questions.

1. Are you aware of the conspicacies surrounding that Russian guy Mystic River on betfair? If so have you any funny hand histories to post?
2. What networks do you play on?
3. Are you MrStevieG? If this question makes no sense to you then the answer would be adefinitive no.
4. If you could do something again, what would it be?

1. It took me ages. I remember once losing 28 buy ins at $10/$20 in a day. I have a pretty low daily stop loss for my bankroll and stakes i play, i have lost over $50,000 in a day maybe only 2 or 3 times this year.

2. Probably not correctly assessing the value of their hand, based on who there opponent in the pot is. They base their decisions too much on their own hand, rather on what their opponent may have.

2. What are some of the bigger leaks you have plugged in your own PLO game?

3. What is the single best piece of advice anyone has ever given you?

Thanks in advance
1. I've always taken shots at higher stakes even when not properly bankrolled. I was playing $200/$400 on Full Tilt in 2006 when i had nowhere need the bankroll needed. For my to feel comfortable at playing my style, i need 50 full buy ins, or around that.

2. Paying off rocks, not being aggressive enough, playing drunk

3. Don't let ego in poker get in the way of making money.

Nice graph, but how much did you lose?

1. Opinons on open-limping in 6-max?

2. Do you think it's a good idea in general to raise smaller the earlier the position in 6-max?

3. Do you ever play drunk?

4. Favourite animal?

5. Favourite movie?

They were lucky when they took a shot and ran good. I'm sure there are players at much smaller stakes that could beat 25/50+, but they may not have the gamble and mentality to cope with swings. You have to be able to go to the pub with friends and have a good time after you have just lost more than they earn in a year.

The players that play 200/400 regularly with a bankroll of less than $3 million must be crazy or fearless, however good you are, its easy to lose a few million to variance....

$100/$200 Pot Limit Hold'em and Omaha. I don't play so much live, either the games in the UK are too small, or i can't be bothered when i'm in Vegas.

I play Betfair and Crypto.... sometimes Ladbrokes too.

8000-15000 in a normal month

perhaps a mod could edit the op when they get a chance.

Thanks for doing this Ben.

1) When you say aggressive style is that pre or post flop or both? I find, at least up to 2/4 you just cannot isolate limpers, and people will very often over call a 3-bet. Inevitable you end up with a 4-way hand with 10JQKds on a 456 monotone flop..

2) Who are you on Laddies?

2)Who is the worst famous pro u've played live or online?
3)When you went through your downswing did you change anything/play less/play more play hands differently because of the swing?
4)You still backed by badbeat?
5)Do you get nipped alot?
6)Im small stakes online plo 1/2 2/4 6 max what brief advice have you to be a winnin player?
7)Why did you leave Betfair?
8)What does the future hold for you?Ambitions?

Good luck!

Ahhh, You seem a pretty cool guy and is good of you for doing something like this.

Were do you see yourself heading in the next 10+ years?

How bad do you think people generally play PLO?

I remember once looking at your blog and reading that you had some intresting news for us soon (It was just after you leaving the Betfair team) what was it?

Has FTP made any attempt recently to add you to their team?

Will you coach me at PLO please?

Is there anyone you wont give action at PLO (HU) at stakes between 25/50-50/100?

Same question for 200/400?

Do you ever plan at taking a shot at RailHeaven/GusHeaven? (I guess it would be more likely you sitting at Gus's table if any lol)

Great of you to do this and congrats on the success. Some of these questions may be to indepth/hard to answer.

1) Do you have any plans to play other games? Mixed games, NLH?

2) What do you think are sustainable winrates at 4-6 handed plo games from 25/50-200/400 that consistently run.

3) Obviously player dependent so you may not beable to answer, but at HU PLO what do you think are reasonable winrates at 25/50-200/400 against a standard reg at those limits.

4) What do you think of Niki Jedlika and Icallsowhats games?

5) In HU PLO what % of hands are you reraising against a standard opponent from the big blind? Could you discuss some "standard ranges"? I often notice you just min reraise instead of a full pot size raise. Can you expand on why you are doing this?

6) Can you discuss 4 betting ranges in 100BB-200BB short handed PLO. Are you ever 4-betting kings against aggressive opponents? Do HU or multiway pots effect your 4-betting ranges? For example if you open on the button an the sb reraises and the big blind over calls does that effect your 4-betting range vs the big blind folding?

7) Do you ever fold hands oop to reraises? Say you open AKJ2 with a king high flush draw from the CO and good playing button repots. Do you fold that hand preflop? Are there any hands you fold preflop in that situation?

8) Do you ever fold hands in position to pot size reraises?

I got a lot more but don't want to take all your time!

Awesome of you to do this and that is one sick graph. It surprised me when you said your best results were 4-6 handed because from my play with you I figured you would be better at shorthanded games (2-4 handed), much like myself. I have one question right now.

Do you think it's possible to get away with playing as loose as you do in a 6max game against top players? Would you do anything to adjust playing in a game with the 5 players you listed as the best 6max players vs playing an average 25/50 6max game on FTP or Betfair or wherever else?

Thanks again for doing this, I'll try to think of some more.
