so this villian is a good reg, must make a fair bit at 1-2 and 2 5 , seems fairly solid pre and post,

so am i just clicking buttons on the turn here, i think against a straight im not doing that bad to another raise here? obvs flop std, turn i think villain can have more than straight here like he can have top set ect and probably some hands with the blockers to straights, asking about this equity question, agaisnt a made straight no redraw what sort of equity do i have here? i think im probabably clicking buttons here but think that this raise i can then call a turn 3 bet and jam all pair flush rivers?

anyw3ays on a rate of 1-10 how bad did i play this, i def can have qj and be trying to get him off a chop here, not sure what other bluffs i have here on river though , this hand i won but obviously wanted to ask about my sizing on the turn with my set and flush redraw? spew right? :P

not sure about his call on river? guess he has too call but my hand is so face up but i have been known to punt so i guess his call is fine vs a fish like me

Turn isn't really bad, just weird. It puts you in an awkward river spot basically every time. As played, river is an easy lead. Villain's call is pretty bad.

I hate turn it is really bad. Both betsize-wise and as an overall strategy. It's pretty simple poker theory - What do you want to accomplish by raising turn?

+1
what better folds? what worse calls? which part of villains vbetting range are you ahead of? which part of the range he´s betting and has you beat do you expect him to fold?

could argue about balancing out your raising range ofc, but you can use that argument to justify basically every dumb move

I don't think turn is terrible, we can push lots of equity. The downsides are clear: He can have a bigger set, straight, or big combo draw that gives us some reverse implied odds on river.

That said I don't expect him to 3b turn very often - when he does I'd be worried about a straight and bigger hearts as a big part of his range.

His call on river seems fine with QT+
