Vilian is playing solid. 27/16 , 28wtsd , nothing special. On the flop i would can pass my hand , On the turn probably i can bet fold my hand , on the river should we valuebet that? I like on the river not always bet to much just solid bet , but the problem with this i think we inducate a bluff with this , we have a good bluffcatcher. i dont know really what is the best with this hand..

cooler. you have a great bluff catcher (not blocking 52/56/clubs) + your river sizing is pretty inducing + not many players at this stake delay their aggression with strong hands like this until the river (most would at least raise turn i think). only way i'd fold is if i was sure that villain was a pretty big nit and/or had seen him not raise sets in spots like this on flop/turn before. would size way up on river tho since you'll have some bluffs and you wanna get more value

I agree betting this small on river isn't the best. We should either be leading here for a larger value bet or checking to induce bluffs or thin value bets from worse hands. Rarely getting away from this hand OTR against any decent aggressive player as played.

I think river is a fold vs a reg as played. I just don't see a reg raising q8 or something for value and there really aren't many missed draw type hands after the flop call. Bet, bet, bet is fine and I would bet more on river (16 or so) but it's not like that would solve any problems against a raise.

Would you call the raise river if you'd bet something like 18$?

TO OP:

I really can't find a fold as played on the river.

I really dislike hero's size on the river. That said, I think it's a fold against this player (and the pool of plo50 27/16 regs).

With the sizing you use on the river, I wouldnt fold unless I thought they were exceptionally solid and wouldnt ever take bait like that. Although problem is that he could value shove 33,44 now that he didnt want to shove beforehand. Maybe it is a fold.

I think checking river is the best : he wont have very many Q3/Q4 combos, KQ is a tie, Q8 probably didnt get to the river..basically there are very few hands he can pay a value bet off with, and he should have a decent chunk of missed 56 type hands, or QJT hands that wont have enough showdown value and he might bluff with

i like a river bet for value. we have the best hand like virtually 100% of the time and the river is a total brick so he's not going to try to bluff

Seeing the hand his line makes sense

I like a river check - there's no value to be had so we might as well check and hope he bluffs.
