I haven't played for a while, after busting my bankroll over and over repeatedly playing underolled. So gave poker a break and now wanted to make a $600 deposit.

So was just wondering what games and stakes i should start at with $600.

I previously played up to 10/20$ for over a few months not sure if it was variance as i don't use any software but my game is heads up plo starting with 2k and running it up quite a bit previously before busting it for the millionth time. The regs would not give me any action heads up so i don't think i was really a fish although mentally I'm a whale.

Anyway wondering what stakes games maybe even site i should play? Cant really deposit again for a few months as I'm not working at the moment, starting a new job in a couple of months unless i run it up here

PLO5 if you are 'practicing' or 'learning'

IF you are nto going to deposit I would probably put 50k hands in at plo5 and see what happens.

Also any tips for plo10? are we ever bluffing using blockers at this stake? calling light bottom sets?

People moan about plo10 being unbeatable etc but they are just whiners....

The best thing to do is to play your best poker - which means outplaying villain tendencies, don't have specific rules just because of the stake. The fish are pretty easy to identify, and I'd be less inclined to try to push them out of certain pots. in PLO zoom there are all sorts of different kinds of players. All of them suck though and its enough to beat the rake.

If you are new to plo 6max you will likely be one of the fish there. You can conduct some experiments to see what kind of winrates you are getting in 1k 2k 5k 10k hand samples at various stakes. I would see if you can beat plo2 for 10 buy ins (AIEV) in 5k hands which should take about 7 hours of 4 tabling. If you can do that try it at plo5. If you fail then keep doing 5k sampkles until you are pretty confident. Once you can beat plo2 you can beat plo10 imo - jsut at a slower rate because less 70/55/15 players come along.

euro sites are generally softer, but you can't beat stars software.

If you can't put in a lot of volume then deffo go for a euro site. YOu will get better rakeback also.

I only really ever play on stars so i don't know. i did play some plo50 on PKR last year and that was ok - very soft games - but hard to get any decent volume in because lack of tables and software not really any good for multitabling.

I would reccomend stars and getting gold star myself. But someone smart would say to play on a soft euro site with a rake back deal. I dunno man.

So can a good plo2000 reg use the same skill and mindset he uses to play plo2000 while playing plo10? or does he have to adjust to plo10?

a plo2000 reg would have a default mindset to playing an unknown at plo2000. This mindset would be to play his best poker. And to play your best poker you don't follow certain rules dependent on the $ sign attached to the BBs in the pot. Relationships develop on much deeper scales at high stakes which is why games evolve into seemingly incomprehensible dynamics.

He would play his best poker but against less skilled players. He might lose not playing his best poker by leveling himself into bad bluffs, but he will still learn villain behavior and have an easier time into exploiting leaks.
