What would you guys say are the most important differences and adjustments for players that primarily play holdem? Besides playing tighter postflop.

Biggest adjustment is you need to run good.

Read some books like PLO from scratch and watch some training videos to have some idea what u have to do. And after some 5-10k hands post here some stats and hands to see is it ok.

The biggest thing I learned during my transition from holdem to omaha is that 2 good holdem hands are not good omaha hands. I.e qj45 not really very playable but I would think "meh I have two straight draws. Also position is more important. Watch for backdoor draws as they are way more common.

I would start by rarely playing draws that don't make the nuts. Those bottom set K high flushes you would be golden with in holdem have a lot less weight

Bottom set has gotten me into a lot of trouble so far. Same with K or Q high flushes. Very good points.
