I would smooth call in BB - why bloat the pot OOP with a hand that doesn't play super great unless you nail it?

With that turn I think you're behind most of his range (He has 2 pair, made straight, etc a lot here) and are about 4:1 to make your hand and getting 3:1 on a call.

Preflop & flop are absolutely fine, turn is a fold.

turn is one of the worst possible cards for hero, often eliminating aa and/or 66 as possible outs

If we don't gii on the flop this is a good turn to fold - not saying gii on flop is best but on this texture it is an option

I mean besides A hi flop you can't get much better than this. You have NFD, 2 broadway blockers and an overpair. Either fold to the raise because we're deep or jam over top. Calling and check/folding the turn seems so terrible.
