Put MP on AAxx pre, put BTN on big pairs and big rundowns excluding AA. Figured MP would jam so plan was to check raise if BTN folded/called but when he came over MP assumed he could only be doing this with KKxx.

Equilab tells me it's an easy stack off (45-50%) vs their perceived ranges excluding KKxx, but what's flatting pre and coming over the top with on this flop other than kk? (don't say (j76)5)

Check raise the right line here or just jam/gii on the flop?

I would consider folding bare 88 in this spot (who am I kidding, I would never fold), but with a nut openender to go with it folding is criminal

I'm not sure why you played the hand preflop when you were planning to fold this flop

I'm trying to think if I've seen a fold worse than that in my life..... nope, don't think I have!

As apo5tol said if you have bare 88 you can think about folding but you would still need a very good read on villains for this to be the case. (very tight pre, both only GII with KK/AA + NFD or wrap + FD)

GII ranges vs mid set here considering weight favour of KK:77 and draws being a flip.

This particular 89 increases the odds of KK turning up, but has the extra outs vs KK. The Kd being on the board is also significant to heighten A89*dd and KK (better then Kd being in opponent deck portion).

Basically the cumulative impact on the little weights against +ev ness adds up to = this spot is pretty trivial and by no means a fist pump spot.

Please don't show results because it makes the spot look extra nice, the spot is extra nice against plo5 noobs but in a strict sense opponents would not naturally have max pressure lines when IP with their draws against non preflop raising donker.... Against the v strong players KK:77 ratio is enough to swing it to breaking even.

Check... bet... 3b ... expecting KK:77 at the heaviest... the OESD feels more like a discount on their redraw...

All bets are against KK weight only, this is an easy bet to make here at plo5 against so much <50% aggro, but no means GTO.

I wish the results had said KK and Add w/ str8 blockers, just to gauge the excitement change.

None of us our results orientated.... however, the fact BTN showed the hand he did helps prove that folding is really bad.

What exactly from you're experience at 5PLO (or what you've seen from 5PLO) make this spot not a trivial fist pump GII? I always welcome GTO approach considerations for discussion, but in terms of what is dictated by player pool tendencies at this stake level we snap get this in all day errrrrr day.
