2/2 homegame, 7 players

mp: $200 TAG
hj: $250 LAG
co (Hero = 5 6 7 8): $250

preflop:
utg straddles to $5, mp pots to $19, hj 3bets to $40, hero?

HJ likes having the initiative thus likes to raise and 3bets light. He also likes action.
I want to pot to $148 to iso.
The problem is MP. He has a decent hand and knows the LAG will call thus I probably cant get him off his hand since he has the pot odds.

4bet Pot?
flat the 3bet?
or.. ?

Just fold. HJ 3betting light makes your hand much worse multiway since a good chunk of his hands are rundowns that crush yours. MP can/should also 4bet thinner for value and now you're stuck putting in 100-125bb with bad equity most of the time.

call pre mine flop
iso when you have value, you don't have value here unless villain is the opposite of what you described him but then you still have virtually commited to the pot with 8 high
