Probably is a littlebit loose defend , but thy saying on plo videos you have to defend like 40-60% of your hands , mostly against late position raise. if we have an 8 high suit in the hand is snap defend like this im not sure.
river: i only would give up on T , J , or 8 , not really on flushes or pair board
question:
1: defend or not pre?
2: on which card would you give up on the river?
i dont like the call pre but as played - pretty standard - money is going in either way. The only possible way im folding river is if the non A heart drops because thats his most likely draw.
I think you played the hand fine, check calling river doesn't feel much better or worse than just jamming yourself unless you think he jams his entire range when checked to OTR.
