Just found this tread and figured it deserved a bump. Very well written and very informative. I'm currently just playing with no set goals or direction. After reading this I'm gonna take a week or two off to formulate a game plan and start studying, seek out coaching, practice game selection, as well as improve my everyday life outside of poker i.e. exercise, nutrition, money management, etc. Thanks for all the solid advice OP, it doesn't go unnoticed.
