could I have check call or just check fold the turn? given that it hits vllians range often enough , will checkfolding be giving out too much equity?

it's fine for 100bb. you block the nuts and even if he does have a str8 you got decent equity.
checking results in giving u some headaches and check/fold is way to weak there in a 3bet pot imo

I bet less on the flop and pot the turn.
