Hi New player here ... was wondering if it's possible to turn 300 to 3000 playing plo and if so what's the strategy here and what stakes should i be playing ...

Depends on what you want for a bankroll management style.

Most people would advocate 40+ buyins for normal BRM. That would put you at $5 PLO

Aggressive BRM would be $10 PLO or maybe short stacking $25 PLO.

I would suggest $5 to start and once you get to $400 jump to the 10s.

How many tables are you planning on playing?

maby 2 tables at max ...

I turned a $100 deposit to 4k in a week on bovada so it's definitely possible.

Assuming you can already beat PLO25 for a solid winrate it should be doable in a few months.

If you've never played online poker before you should start at the lowest level and work your way up to PLO25 while constantly studying the game. That should take you at least a year.

Possible? Yes. Worth the time? Almost certainly not.

confirmed possible. I've done it really fast by taking shots. But i trusted luck and wouldnt recommend to take that risk. better to do it like explained above and learn in the progress with dicipline.. gl

why stop at 3k?

plo10 ring games clearly more profitable than plo25

I got 18$ to 14k and down to 2.2k earlier this year.

Tournaments are the way to go with low rolls. That or 65 hour weeks of 10-12 tabling.

I did a few hundo to 2k last winter, it's definitely possible but you need to run good throughout. I did very ****** things like short stack n rat 50 plo HU and zoom and played totally outside BR requirements. Gotta get your degen on.

-Had some time off to grind, my puny roll was down to jsut one tournament. ---Won that mtt- 8$ rebuy for 4k
-As i got plenty in bank and some time off decided to go for glory.
-Steady grinded plo50/100/200 until I got to 14k
-had bad session at plo200 +plo100 zoom, too many tables, when I should have been asleep and had smoked about an ounce of strong skunk over the week.
-PLayed zoom 500, got owned by luck, tilted
-Played 4 zoom 500s and every plo1k running simultaneously. whole roll was on the table. kept losing the ****ing races.
-Called it a day when I only had 2k left, withdrew

e:Thinking about it now, I wish I had that ***** money. I was determined to get 100k for some reason, and I didn't have much time to do it because i had to go back to study and placement. I blame the graphs threads and the desire to troll people.

i always say it whenever I implode, but that was my 3rd and final lesson in BRM and quitting games when titled.
