btn is a limping fish but raisings 27% from the btn. Sb is a nitty reg and I am the super fish in the bb they are going after.

I lead this flop top pair open ender and back door flush draw. Is this a good lead here into 2 players? WE have top pair but not a great top pair but a lot of equity. Not really sure what is best here.

On the turn as played do we check or should we bet again? We have more equity but without the nut flush draw is it better to pot control in this spot since we are op?

You need the flop, and the flop needs you.

'Pot control' has no business being mentioned with your TP+OESD+FD. Checking would be to induce a bet from somewhat who can be expected to bet the turn a lot. Against a presumably more passive player, I'd definitely bet, though.

+1 This is all you need to read OP. Don't out level yourself in a pretty straight forward situation.

You do also realize you picked up a second pair on the turn, right?

Who needs flops when you can live by the life advice of my old home game buddies "Omaha is a preflop game".

I've never heard live players say that. I've always heard it being called a flop game

Is there any merit in just checking the flop? My thoughts are that we got a medium strength hand and a pretty dry flop and that we rarely get 2 folds.

As played i def. agree with betting turn or c/r against aggressive opponents.

ya I am playing these spots more aggressively now. I see I am Hellmuth of plo post flop. Its pretty tilting if i sit a new table a reg snap sits my left and posts right away. Its like wtf I am that bad. I must be making unreal mistakes post flop.

You're right, but my old home game friends back in the day enjoyed nothing more than playing 5bet pots OOP 500+BBs deep with absolute trash. Thems were the days.
