Calling here sucks since SPR will be slightly less than 1 on turn and villain is jamming pretty much most turns.

I'm pretty much bet/GII on this flop against most opponents. Don't think it's terribly close at all.

Even against a set of 7s you have 36% equity. So it isn`t usually very bad to get it in here.

You'll need around 44% and you won't come close vs a lot of players at .10-.25.

my calculations have the requisite equity to stack off at closer to 44% (1.25:1) but perhaps I am doing the math wrong? we could also just see a turn, getting 2:1.

I could see a lot of very loose players going wild with two pair, wrap or other weak dominated draws as well as sets. probably we are in okay shape, but it's better to carefully observe your opponents and determine their play style rather than just blindly guessing. we're playing poker, not paper scissors rock

Yes you are right, I changed my post.

If villain is ever shoving hands like 89Jdd we should be getting this in. I just meant some players at low stakes (or live) will only show you sets and nfd+

In general I think flop check raises from looser players are very strong but poker players are entirely heterogeneous so population tendencies are irrelevant from an analytic standpoint. Your task as a poker player is to discern the various intricacies of your opponents' play and then to devise a unique plan to exploit their weaknesses; anything less is simply button mashing.
