200PLO: owned or std spots?

here are two spots against regs, still new to hem2 so i couldnt pull up bet v missed cbet type stats. not sure if im too much in my head in these spots, or thinking well.

hand 1:
played with villain a bit at 100 and 20, seems quite agro b/e reg. 24/17/5 over 1.5k hands. not all that cbetty and frequency dives OTR.

[converted_hand][hand_history]Cake Poker, $1/$2 Pot Limit Omaha Cash, 6 Players
Poker Tools Powered By Holdem Manager - The Ultimate Poker Software Suite.

MP: $125.52 (62.8 bb)
CO: $227.25 (113.6 bb)
Hero (BTN): $203 (101.5 bb)
SB: $226.95 (113.5 bb)
BB: $294.48 (147.2 bb)
UTG: $245.05 (122.5 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BTN with 9 J T T
2 folds, CO raises to $7, Hero calls $7, 2 folds

Flop: ($17) 4 8 A (2 players)
CO bets $10, Hero calls $10

Turn: ($37) 7 (2 players)
CO bets $26, Hero calls $26

River: ($89) 8 (2 players)
CO bets $46,

not sure what to make of river bet, probably blocking, but im not going to have many boats in my range (only a8/(44?)) given how hand played out and were only 100bb deep, but his sizing throughout throws me off, he nearly halfpots the flop, but i dont have much of a read on his sizing yet.

flop/turn seem std, but hes quite passive of river, gave thoughts to jamming, as it seemed blocking. folding std?

hand 2:

these hands happened b2b at 2 tables felt owned at the beginning of a sesh
villians very barrelly when cbetting, but his sizing scared me off otr, as it seemed to go for max value?! but again im not sure how he thinks. could also be bare A type hands

"small 3b" was just to open a std size didnt feel a need to bloat the pot, hadnt seen him min open, so probably tilted towards PPs imo.

SB: $568.71 (284.4 bb)
BB: $280.40 (140.2 bb)
UTG: $205.84 (102.9 bb)
MP: $62.80 (31.4 bb)
CO: $346.71 (173.4 bb)
Hero (BTN): $197 (98.5 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BTN with A K 7 9
2 folds, CO raises to $4, Hero raises to $8, SB folds, BB calls $6, CO calls $4

Flop: ($25) 6 2 5 (3 players)
BB checks, CO checks, Hero checks

Turn: ($25) Q (3 players)
BB checks, CO bets $17, Hero calls $17, BB folds

River: ($59) 2 (2 players)
CO bets $51

given his min open and river sizing he seems to be repping only 1 hand QQ imo, thoughts?

What do you think his bet is trying to accomplish in hand 1?

What's with the 3bet size in hand 2?

Re: 200PLO: owned or std spots?

? i thoguht i answered both in my post
hand 1: his sizing seemed blocking, handnt seen him do much of inducing, so hes probably got a better flush if it is. just felt like an awesome riv for him to barrel.

2. iso/play smaller pot v his min opening range, alot of ppl seem to min open pairs, and he hadnt min opened any yet. BB was very likely to come along as a the probable mark at the table, didnt feel the need to bloat the pot even tho i had position, would rather size it to be able to see rivers than size it to have to end the hand earlier

Re: 200PLO: owned or std spots?

Hand 1: the river is really tricky. On the one hand you don't beat anything, on the other hand you can't really represent a FH/quads (only 78**dd). I think he can have a better flush a decent amount of the time and is blocking. He also probably bets more otf with AA**,A8**,88**.
So I'd tend to say: don't call, either shove or fold. Shoving feels pretty spewy though. I guess you could shove and make a note though

Hand 2: i'd just call. If villain is a reg i seriously doubt he only minopens pp and 3x the rest. Call and let bb join the party. You don't want to min raised and then get repopped with your hand. I call in hand 2. I doubt he bets QQ ott, he only gets called by better and there are no draws to fold out. Otr your hand looks exactly like the hand it is: a flush.

Re: 200PLO: owned or std spots?

hand 1. I 3bet pre, fold river.

hand 2. I probably call because your range can contain a lot of weaker flushes which he might try and barrel off with bare ace, two pair type hands, etc. Plus since I think you folded river on hand 1 he might now be barreling lighter since he thinks you fold often on river.
