200PLO: lots of options, still feel hemmed in
villain seems pretty taggy, bit much on the 3betting side, 8.5% 3b but seems logical. havent played with him too much, not sure of my image to him.
[converted_hand][hand_history]Cake Poker, $1/$2 Pot Limit Omaha Cash, 6 Players
Poker Tools Powered By Holdem Manager - The Ultimate Poker Software Suite.
MP: $137.52 (68.8 bb)
CO: $192 (96 bb)
Hero (BTN): $200 (100 bb)
SB: $195 (97.5 bb)
BB: $373 (186.5 bb)
UTG: $555.64 (277.8 bb)
Preflop: Hero is BTN with 5 6 4 4
3 folds, Hero raises to $7, SB folds, BB raises to $22, Hero calls $15
Flop: ($45) 5 7 J (2 players)
BB bets $22.50,
his sizing seems polarized, like hes either just taking a stab or trying to induce. i can jam flop, but it doesnt seem like the best option if hes actually polarized.
i have a pair, so my equties a bit durable. merits flatting > raise?

Flat and either hit or bluff at 89T or heart turns.

Re: 200PLO: lots of options, still feel hemmed in
This is an interesting spot. Against random AA that has your flush covered you're still flipping it looks like. Worst hand to be against would be JT89 that also has the club draw.
So I guess the question is, which one of our draws are live and are they both live against villain's range? That villain 3bets 8.5% means he can't always be on AA, and I agree with you his flop bet is either a b/f or he's looking to induce.
I think I like calling on this flop and evaluating on turns. But what about a raise/fold here? Nah, that doesn't seem good b/c we're flipping against an AAxx that has our flush covered and we'd be folding too much equity.
Ok then, would we ever fold to this villain on this flop? If no, I say we should raise large on the flop, but if we get reraised one of our draws is definitely dominated.
If we are willing to fold to this villain, I think c/c then evaluating the turn is the best option. But this is tricky.

I jam. I'm not sure what you want to achieve by calling vs a polarized range. He's going to fold the air part of his range anyways and if he has a higher fd, he's still getting our money. Plus we're flipping (I'd guess) against his non-air part.

I think I lean towards a jam. If stacks were slightly deeper or if the bet was more like 1/3psb I'd flat. I believe this because there will be a lot of turn where he might barrel us off our equity like qx d or 9x s, when we are still flipping etc.

Easy jam, we are almost flipping against his get it in range and he will fold a lot to our raise

Mostly because like op said, sizing is a bit polarized. Fe is a sweet plus, but if we shove and he wants to get it in, we're not in that good shape vs. hes range. We're also in position, oop I would shove this most of the time.

More fold equity on the turn here than the flop imo...

Jamming here seems a little like spew against a taggy player with no history or dynamic.

what, you have the nuts in a 3b pot 100bb deep with a very transparent hand if you call, what are jamming if not this?

Re: 200PLO: lots of options, still feel hemmed in
I ran some equity calcs and the only case we are doing pretty badly is if we are up against higher club draws. Is that correct?
Vs all other combos (non club) we have at least 40% equity. If we pot here we are playing agressively which is a good thing, as we are semibluffing(?) right?
But i think that he will fold everything without clubs (even maybe a naked JJxx) and will repot if he has the club draw in which case we are in a very bad shape. I`m possibly way off here but thats my 2c, but i lean towards calling.
