Villain is 24/17 over 82 hands. No real sample on anything, fvcb 1/1, c/r 0/5, nothing much.
I'd like your thoughts on the flop mainly.
I'm not too worried about 79, but that probly does make up a large part of his flop c/r range & we'd like to avoid flipping vs that if possible.
The main thing that worries me is having my fd dominated, which I think is somewhat likely if he c/r cause he should see my range being AA heavy as we have no history. Like I'd say he could c/r pear+fd, 9T+decent fd, 2p+fd which have me in baaad shape.
I guess I also have some FE but tbh that's the only reason I could think of to bet the flop & thought the negatives of getting it in here or having to fold out weigh that.
I can keep the pot a nice size IP if I check back, stab the turn if he doesn't lead. Call a turn bet & maybe bluff catch depending on the run out.
Also I can pick up another fd/sd sometimes too & get it in.
On the turn I can't see anyone checking 79 twice like this. Also I think my sizing may have induced him with a draw. I thought I had too many medium strength parts to my hand/he doesn't have enough 79 for me to want to fold here.
Your thoughts appreciated as always!
