Bovada SMPO $10 PLO tournament $5k GTD

Early, blinds are 30/60, stacks started at 5k chips

9 handed

HJ has 6202 chips
Hero on button has 9035 chips

folds to HJ who raises to 132

CO (irrelevant player) calls

Hero raises the pot to 618 w QJ109

blinds fold, both players call, 3 handed to flop

FLOP: A87 POT HAS 1944

HJ checks
CO checks

HERO bets 1197

HJ raises to 5535, leaving 49 behind

CO folds

POT HAS 88676

HERO calls..

I raised the pot before the flop because my hand is good and I am in the best spot at the table so why not pump up the price and take the initiative. Plus I wanted to possibly get heads up because I would probably feel better about both of my flush draws since it would be less likely, if I made a flush, to be up against a better flush..

I hit the flop with a good wrap, and bet because the Ace hits my range pretty hard. I bet because I didn't want to miss the turn and just check call.

And then I call because I am getting 2 to 1 and I have a wrap.. I have 35% against a set of aces.

on flop you only fold out some KK QQ JJ, flop is very trivial 3 ways so you just shove, it's not like you can fold any turn

Preflop I think you should flat in relatively shallow mtt conditions 9 handed and 2 interests.

yeah i'm flatting pre here as well. once the flop hits i see your spot and don't see you folding to any turn minus a paired board esp an ace, but seems like a std spot to gii there
