Had been stuck for most of the night and I don't think I'd won a hand for going on two hours. Was just one of those nights so I'd decided to leave and live to fight another day when this hand came up - literally had the rack in my lap and was going to play back to my blinds.
1/2 PLO game is a $200/$700 game. Approximate stacks:
V1 (MP): $400 - really friendly player, had been getting a shoulder massage for @ 3 hours (slight exagreation).
V2 (cutoff): $400 - had only been in the seat for @ 10 minutes
H (button): $600
EP opens to $10, V1 raises to $30.
V2 calls and I call with
A
9
T
J
three callers behind and six of us see the flop:
9
Q
6
Check check, V1 pots@ $180 with @ $200 left behind.
V2 thinks and thinks and just calls here.
At this point I have a couple smaller stacks left to act but both are sub $200 stacks and two very passive players. I also recognize that I am tilting from 1 - having waited @ 90 minutes for a seat and 2 - being stuck, ready to rack up and wondering how I got into this hand. But I dont think anything good comes from calling.
I see my two choices as getting it in or letting it go. In the end with the SF draw, middle pair and two spades, I decide I cant let it go.
I think I'm supposed to cut off my post here so I'll hang up and listen. TIA for any thoughts.
