I open HJ with J9 (T7ss) to $20
Button calls, bb calls, limper calls

Flop 97Ass $85 (2pr, gutshot, fd)

Checks to me, I bet $75
Button calls (covers)
BB ships $180

I ship $330

Thoughts on hand?

How are you opening to $20 in a 1/2 game with 1 limp?

Pretty tricky/annoying spot though. Once you bet near-pot you're pretty much committed, and vs live fish and with the vulnerability of our hand we pretty much have to bet.

also, if we start with $350 and put $95 in the pot we don't "ship $330" after that.

i would play it the same. Can never be a big mistake. The question is: Is it better to call and hope that BTN calls also or is it better to gii and hope for a fold from BTN.

Maybe some juice-expert could present some EV calcs.

It's a 1/2 with a $5 bring in. First open is to $15 max

I said ship $330 because that's what was in front of me when button asked for a count, lol. But you're right technically I went all in for my remaining $255

ofc not flat and fold.

The question is: do we want btn to continue or not?

That is what i am asking? Not sure. "Feeling" we want to gii and BTN to fold. But i might be wrong. Maybe a continuing BTN raises our EV. That only a thought.
